COW HOLLOW

The renovation of this compact home required a clever and tasteful touch and architect Andrew Fischer pulled it off beautifully. In the newly remodeled kitchen the use of custom Honduras mahogany cabinets, in the craftsman style, with glazed uppers and granite countertops, high-end appliances and a new lighting scheme produced a stunning result. A wine storage room and a new library and office were added. A steam room was added with the addition of an operable skylight, the floor was tiled in a marble mosaic. Great attention was paid to the choice of interior and exterior paint colors, and to soundproofing which dictated the replacement the windows where 3/8-inch thick laminated glazing was used for noise reduction.
