PACIFIC HEIGHTS

This wonderful Gardner Daly designed urban home was completely renovated to restore some of the original design's key features and to modernize the kitchen and bathrooms. Designed by architect Robert Frear, the renovation consisted of the removal of an elevator, which had been added in a previous remodel. The spiral staircase was replaced and much needed light restored to the area. The layout for the master suite was re-configured, expanding it and allowing for the addition of a beautiful walk-in dressing room constructed with European beech. A bedroom on the third floor was converted into a stunning study paneled with quarter-sawn macore. The kitchen cabinets were built with straight vertical grain Douglas fir and the countertops were fabricated in granite.
